Thanks for the opportunity, being able to start. I my be able to take my son that was born with Down Syndrome and had overcome many circunstances but now he is losing his sight due to episodes of hydrop cornea in both eyes eight months apart and is due to an advance and irreversible bilateral keratoconus so been able to get him on the trails, camping or explore will be an experience he would love specially traveling light with the correct and amazing gear.

On March 6,2003 I was hit by a Drunk Driver and almost lost my left leg.. The doctor’s didn’t think I’d ever walk again much less become a Backpacker…. 7 yrs later I did my First Hike a SoBo of the Appalachian Trail… I have been fighting a battle to keep my leg and keep hiking ever since and every year since that first hike I head back out to the Great Outdoors looking for another adventure… My biggest problem is trying to get light weight gear and money doesn’t come easy when you’re disabled and need to keep hiking to stay alive… I’m always up for a Win and free Gear..
