light weight hiking poles
The poles are so light, minimizing swing weight and increasing ease of moving around for long 10 hour days on the trail without even realizing you are holding anything. They feel sturdy, however, after the 2nd backpacking trip which would be approx 40 miles with them, I am unsure of their durability. At this point, they feel a bit more 'loose' at connection points than they were on day one out of the package. Hoping for the best, as I love them!

Unreliable and breaks easily
I got these last year for a section hike from Mammoth to Yosemite Valley, and they worked great. But the next trip after that, when I opened it, the spring-loaded locking peg that keeps the poles extended popped off when I extended the pole! I returned them and got a replacement pair. In this set, after about 20 miles of use, one of the poles, that same locking peg kept popping in after less than a mile of use, causing the pole to collapse. Once again, I got them replaced. In this third set, after about 70 miles of use, as I collapsed them on my last trip at the end of my trek, the locking mechanism sheared right off and fell out! Three pairs of the same pole, and each failed in the same part! Super disappointing. Would not recommend.

FLZ trekking poles
Today I finished the E4 trail (from Sofia Bulgaria to Greece), I used the FLZ trekking poles and they preformed very well. Thanks again to GGG team.
