Super comfortable, was warm when needed but breaths really well. Didn't need to do the on off switch nearly as much as other hiking mid layers I have. The front pocket is genius, didn't need to shift stuff up to put on hip belt or have an uncomfortable spot only to realize it's a pinched glove or fold on my hoodie pocket. Also the extra length sleeves are great. Having the thumb hole placed so the sleeve also covers to the knuckles is awesome. Idk why other companies haven't thought of that. Back in the day of making your own thumb hole it was always behind the cuff so that's how it would sit, makes sense to place it there

For my personal experience, it has made a great base layer or mid layer, depending on the weather. Very durable and has a lot of key features that I personally were looking for. Happy with the product.

New favorite mid layer! Kept me warm on my trip in the Wind River Range hiking trip. Favorite things about fleece are the color, thumb holes, and higher front pocket.

I have the Chartreuse and get a lot of complements on this piece of gear. Normally, I don't associate something made in China as quality but this fleece hoodie takes the cake. It harkens back to !when Chinese tailors were among the best in the world. The craftsmanship is very apparent when you take a close look at the needlework, as if it truly was hand stitched.

I really like this fleece layer but I'm pretty sure GGG sent me a men's instead of a women's; the sleeves are very long and the torso is extra wide. Overall the garment doesn't fit well and I didn't have enough time to return before my thru-hike. Pretty bummed about this.
