Great concept, hard for big hands

Great concept, still needs some work The small size, light weight--great! The cover stays on just fine, but it is hard to remove, and I fear that I will cut myself. I haven't used it as much as I anticipated--my heavier but still lightweight standard folding knife is still my go-to a few months after purchasing the ULK.

Be careful getting out of sheath

The blade is super light and compact as advertised. Just use caution removing the blade from the kydex sheath. It puts your thumb and/or your index finger in danger if you’re not careful.

Beautiful little piece of kit, fantastic service

Not only is this just a little gem of a blade, well thought out and sensitively crafted, but GGG made shipping it to the UK just about as painless as can be. I'm really looking forward to using this on my next long solo walk.

Loved it so much I bought one as a gift

I was fortunate enough to get one of the very first of these knives. Over several years it has served me well as a backpacking knife. Small and lightweight but when held tightly in the hand it is also rock solid when making a cut. I have used it from everything from opening freeze-dried bags, to cutting tape, to making fire start tinder. I liked it so much that when they became available again, I sent one to a friend who also has a passion for backpacking and great handmade knives.
