I was skeptical, but we tried this and it is really quite good! It's surprisingly limey and tangy, in a good way. I thought it packed a good punch of flavor without too much heat, and think it would be a great addition to lots of on-trail meals. Pretty easy to add a spoonful to any dehydrated meals to drastically improve bland flavor. Definitely recommend!

My new favorite backpack item. Delicious eaten alone or added to meals. Honestly tastes fresh and for those like me who love hot and spicy this is great. Fabulous mixed with Quinoa or used on a tuna wrap. So many different ways to incorporate this into snacks and meals. It is really hard to keep chips intact on the trail, so if I plan to eat this as a salsa dip with chips it is usually on day one.....after packing and unpacking my food bag multiple days the chips don't make it long for dipping, but still work great added to other meals for some salt and crunch. In fear of not being able to get this for multiple trips this year I went ahead and stocked up!
Really good and spicy
however portion size is small for the price. maybe a heaping spoonful after reconstitution.
Salsa
chips and salsa on the trail was an amazing treat. this salsa had great flavor and a little kick. love to try their other flavors.
