Really simple little piece of foam and nylon but if you need some shoulder cushion support on the trail, this little thing is worth a million. These are extra padded....
Sold as a pair and work on most packs.

Pretty good but could be better
I bought these to use with my Granite Gear Crown 60. Over a 3 day hike they helped with the additional cushioning but moved and shifted quite a bit. Picture shows wider velcro straps than what received and I think those may have helped with the shifting and would probably feel more substantial. Overall I like these and they helped, but could be a little better.

Works great
I wore the pads on my 14 mile round trip in the Wyoming Big Horn Mountains. The kept my collar bones from hurting.

Hyperlite SouthWest 4400 Needed a little extra padding
Though great quality and build, I can not recommend these shoulder strap pads. I placed these on my Hyperlite Southwest 4400 and no matter how I tighten the velcro straps, they keep rolling around while moving. If they were a wider width and lenght, maybe that would make a difference?

Effective, useful, stays put on straps.
Great product. Keeps packstraps from digging into shoulders. Padding is soft. Hasn't flattened so far (~month+ of field work). Minivelcro straps that keep the pads on the backpack straps are thinner than expected but are surprisingly tacky. Pads stay put. I hope that where the sewing of the minivelcro meets the pads hold up for a long long time because I am super happy with this product. It turned a good pack into a great one. Thank you for making these.

Great add-on
Got these as an addition to a pack that I was happy with except for the cushioning on the straps and these have noticeably and vastly improved the overall comfort and feel of my pack. Love them so much that I’m ordering a second pair in case something ever happens to them. 😂
