While Ursack's standard Major and Major XL resist being torn by bears, they are prone to small (less than 1/4 inch) punctures/weave separations. The AllMitey series is virtually puncture-proof. Not only will it keep out bears' teeth and claws, it will thwart mice, raccoon, squirrels, pine martens, and other sharp-toothed critters.

i've used this bag on multiple trips and have no complaints. the major benefit is that it weight a lot less than a hard sided container. no fussing with a hang either. getting it tied to a tree properly is quick and easy. i use it with an opsack and haven't seen any evidence of bears or other critter messing with it.
So far so good.
i’ve used this bag and the larger size exclusively this year. i haven’t found any evidence of tampering. i haven’t lost any food. so far so good. much easier to use than a bear hang. i feel pretty good about leaving food tied to a tree now. construction is good and heavy duty. i will probably be buying a couple minor bags for huts and metal bear lockers. worth the investment.

I haven't used this yet, but looks of good construction. I like the size and that it can be packed better than a plastic bear container. Will try this summer. I may put food in it and keep in my back porch to see if any little critters can get in. They come for the bread I forgot out there.
