Hammock Gear's Burrow is a favorite of both hammock and ground campers around the world. This budget ultralight quilt is made with 20 denier nylon taffeta fabric that features a DWR (durable water resistant) coating to help shed moisture, and an internal calendared finish for downproof construction.
Each quilt is generously filled with ethically sourced, 850-fill power down to provide insulation on the top and sides of your body while eliminating flattened and otherwise ineffective insulation underneath. By forgoing the least insulating elements found in most sleeping bags such as a full-length zipper, hood, and backside materials, this top quilt design will keep you warm and save precious weight and space.
Whether accompanied by a ground pad or under quilt, Hammock Gear's Burrow will keep you comfortably warm down to its temperature rating with any sleep system. When using this budget ultralight quilt in conjunction with any ground sleep system, upgrading to a wide width is highly recommended for adequate coverage along the sides of your body.

Best purchase in a long time
Exceeded my expectations! I was worried at first, but to my surprise in 18F weather with snow on the ground…..I was quite warm. Warm enough to take layers off because I was too hot and sweating. Ended up wearing just my UL thermals beanie and a buff. Add a puffy jacket, fleece pants, and a proper down balaclava…. I believe I will be comfortable down to zero degrees Fahrenheit. Versatility is amazing and would definitely purchase again!
Looooooooooove this quilt
This quilt is so soft and cozy. I had initially bought the Enlightened Equipment Revelation and really didn't like how plastic-y the material felt. This quilt is super comfortable. Had one of the best nights of sleep I've ever had trying it out for the first time. Like a soft cozy blanket :)

I made the mistake of ordering this too close to the shove off date and was at risk of missing the shipment before my trip. I contacted GGG and they were able to expedite the shipping (for a fee) with no trouble at all. Even came with a hand written message. We need more boutique companies like this. The quilt is also great but I wish I would have asked for 2 oz overfill :-/

bought 20deg long. 6’4” 205 here. perfect length. first quilt and love the versatility of being able to sneak a knee or leg out while keeping everything else covered. i’m a tarper and my first 3 nights using this were 29, 27, and 23 with 10-15mph winds. and i sleep cold. i was super comfy in only lightweight underwear. was super impressed out of the gate. i did tear a buckle off the quilt trying to get out too quickly.
