Scott Burrill founded Virginia Foothill Designs in 2020 with the idea of wanting to increase his freedom of motion through ultralight gear. All VFD packs are made in his home and studio based in Virginia, where the north and south fork of the Shenandoah River intersect. Scott is consistently inspired by the nature of the Skyline Drive and George Washington National Forest skirting his home. His goal is for these packs to make it easier to enjoy and be inspired by nature.
