I got one of these and the other adults in our Scout Troop were suuuuuper jealous of how easily I could unlock my BearVault. It's so great I actually ordered another one so I could put it on our second BearVault. Great little contraption that reduces a small amount of frustration in the backcountry. GET IT.

So this is an unnecessary item, let's just admit it. But, it brings me peace. I've always hated opening my bear can, especially when it's cold. This makes it a lot easier.

Took it on a trip this past weekend and found it easy to use. Although, when it's cold the bear vault becomes harder to open and this key may need a little help, like via a credit card or similar.

Key worked effectively on my 450, however I couldn’t get it to work on my 425 which seems to have a tighter lid. My credit card still performs better on both so I’ll continue that method.
