This Supai Matkat packraft rolls up to the same size as a water bottle. Not only can you take it anywhere, it can take you anywhere. At the water's edge, just keep going. This ultralight packraft is for flatwater paddling only.  Paddle not included.

The hose valve system is one of Supai's most unique features. When an inflatable boat is put in cold water it loses inflation. This process is called tempering. With the Supai valve you are able to inflate while you are in the boat. So if you are in the middle of a lake or floating down some flat water on a river, you won't have to go to shore to inflate your boat.

Mighty raft with teeny weight

i just paddled 15 miles from glen canyon damn to lee's ferry, a relatively calm section of the colorado river. my boat includes some modifications like an alpacka scout seat and tie down strap plates. the seat fit great and kept me out of the little bit of water that collects in the boat from paddling drips. i love the single gear loop in my matkat and i place one caribeaner in this hole. then i can lash more beaners to this for water bottles, coffee flask and a dry bag. these all sit between my legs and the seat. they stay out of the way while the backpack is lashed on top of the front tubes. others on my trip used rigid and inflatable kayaks. my boat was slower for sure as expected, but with lots of muscle and grit i was able to keep up with the group to my surprise. the boat taxi driver, an avid river guide, was impressed with my 12 pound backpack which included food, water, coffee, boat, paddle, raft seat, gloves, pogies, inreach, pfd, knife, extra clothes and a paddling dry jacket. others in the group had 30 plus pounds of gear each and this did not count there boat and paddle weights. all of these raft mods brought my trail weight, with stuff sack, modified raft, raft seat, inflation tube, inflation bag and hefty repair kit up to a whopping 2.4 pounds. 😁

Seams leaked after a few uses

I was hoping for the price that this would be pretty sturdy, however after just a few uses the seams were leaking and I was finding I was having to continuously inflate. Also a second gear tie down would be very beneficial

MatKat pack raft

This pack raft is great! It packs pretty light and not to large. Plus it’s actually pretty strong. It’s fun to use.
