Care: Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with a gentle/wool detergent. Wash with like colors. The dye will likely tint the washing water, but the color of your garment won’t be changed. If hand-washing, rinse the garment(s) in cold water and gently squeeze out the excess water. Lay the garment flat to dry. Iron on warm setting if you feel ironing is necessary. Store your garments preferably folded rather than hung.

At first I was surprised by how small the beanie seemed, but after putting it on and wearing it for awhile it became clear that I'll be using it for many applications. Since this wool wicks moisture, helps regulate heat, and is soft, it's found a go-to place in my life when cold weather hits. I also plan to take it into the high country for chilly mornings or evenings in camp, or sleeping in. It tucks away almost anywhere, well made!

I ordered this to replace my alpha direct beanie which I loved and sadly lost. This alpaca wool beanie is warmer and more wind resistant than the alpha direct beanie. I primarily wear it while running and it works well for this purpose. It has kept me warm down to 20 Fahrenheit. It is light weight, packs down small, and is well crafted. Overall a great product!
