Goosefeet Gear's waterproof over-booties are specifically designed as a rugged shell for their Down Socks, so you can wear them around camp and for those midnight calls of nature. A sil-nylon upper with a shock-cord drawstring at the top seals out rain, snow, and the cold. A second draw-cord at the ankle helps cinch the over-booties around the socks.
Choose between ROBIC or TOUGHTEK sole, depending on how rugged or ultra-light you’d like your over-booties to be.
Features:
- Removable closed-cell foam insole gives extra foot protection when walking around camp
- Waterproof fabrics (However, if you would like for these over-booties to be completely waterproof, you will need to seam seal them yourself)
- ROBIC fabric is strong, yields exceptional tear strength, and is incredibly abrasion-resistant thanks to a ripstop reinforcement grid on top of the base fabric
- TOUGHTEK sets the standard for abrasion-resistant grip. It is a more rugged option and is non-slip in wet, dry, hot, and cold conditions. *TOUGHTEK increases the total weight of the over-booties; weighing in at over twice what a Robic pair would weigh

Great for what they are
I got these to use with my EE Torrid booties to essentially have a "winter camp shoe". They fit those booties just fine. Went with the ToughTek option. I'm not sure I would ever wear them unless there is snow on the ground. You definitely have to walk a bit awkwardly in them, and having to deal with any type of obstacles/rocks/roots or any slope at all would be challenging. They will be great for wearing for around my tent when snow camping, which is all I intend to use them for. I did walk a few hundred feet down an asphalt road in them when car camping to the pit toilet, wasn't a problem. For a 5oz niche use, they seem like a good purchase.

Nice concept, poor execution
I wanted to like these. I even went as far as to contemplate modifications in order to keep them, but gave up & returned them in the end. I don't know what creature has the wedge-shaped feet these booties were patterned after, but it's not human. The excess fabric on the sides will catch on everything. The removable insole is cut too short to protect your feet. I live in the realm of rocks, roots, and mud, so I didn't like that the insole allowed my toes to hang off the front without protection. I attempted to make a removable foam insole that fit better inside the booties. That solved the toe problem, but the minimal cords used for cinching the booties onto your feet couldn't handle the slight increase in weight, and the booties flopped around and came off. This was the point I decided that if I was going to work this hard, I should make my own and not pay for these.

Waterproof Over-Booties by Goosefeet Gear
I was not impressed with these AT ALL. I want to return them but I did use them a few times and now they are scuffed a little bit. They are too big and offer zero support. I bought them SOLELY for just tossing them middle of the night to go the bathroom. My feet were sliding around inside constantly tripping over them. They are also huge, even when wearing the booty inserts.

Great
Perfect for stepping outside the tent quickly to take care of whatever business you may have. Feet and down booties inside them stay nice and dry. You do feel the cold from the ground and they are quite slippery on snow, so I wouldn’t recommend taking more than just a few steps in them.

Nice
I like the idea of wearing down socks in my sleeping bag and when I need to step outside - place the covers over the down socks, removing them when I go back into my sleeping bag (keeps the dirt out). Other great brands don't have removable covers.
