Description

The Rite in the Rain staple-bound notebook is compact, flexible enough to slip into a pocket, and its durable cover defends against weather and wear. Held together with nickel plated rust-resistant staples, these notebooks are tough, yet flexible enough to conform to any pocket. This Notebook can survive any weather. At only a few bucks, it protects your wallet from damage, too.
Use a standard pencil or an all-weather pen in any weather condition and your notes will endure. Pencils and pressurized pens write through water, grease, and mud. Permanent markers and standard ballpoint pens will work when paper is dry. What you've written won't wash off. That said, they may have difficulties writing when paper is wet. Don't use gel pens, highlighters, or fountain pens. Water-based inks will bead or wash off Rite in the Rain Paper.

A solid & well made product
These booklets are compact, lightweight & sturdy. I’m looking forward to using them on the trail for my photo notes.

THEY WORK AND ARE HANDY!
My son is a hiker and I gave these to him as a stocking stuffer. To my surprise he has already been using them and actually needed more. He said they worked well, especially with the special pen you sell separately. To his surprise the next item he up wrapped was more of the special pens! He was delighted to receive both!

Light, Compact, and Great for Notes and Sketches on your Trek
Not for those journaling a journey of months, since there are only 50 universal-ruled sheets with light grid lines, but small enough to take with and very useful to have on any short outing to make notes, sketch features, make a make-shift map, and write down what gear really worked, what didn't, and what you forgot. Team with a stubby pencil or two and you can be Lewis and Clark on your next trek. Great to gift to your hiking buddies, too.
