Multi use simplicity
I carry just two stakes and metal zip tie them to a stick for cooking hot dogs and such. No more burning through the stick and digging dirty hot dogs out of the coals.
flawed concept
head snapped off immediately when tapping the stake into the ground with a rock. the titanium around the cord hole just isn't thick enough to hold up. if you're looking for a super light stake to set up a tent in your backyard, or some place you know to have soil soft enough to push the stake into with just your hand, you'll probably do fine. otherwise, skip it.

Don't recommend
These were purchased for a 9 night excursion to Isle Royale which is known for rocky soil. By the second night the heads were already breaking off. Concept is good but they have a major design flaw which is a hole thru the nail under the head causing weakened and thinned material in this spot. When pushing or stepping on these into hard ground they bend and break off. Titanium is not flexible so they break. Bummer. These are a fail and need to be revised into a better design.

Haven't Tried It Yet
Got these as backup tent stakes, will test them out in yhe next few weeks.

Nailed it
The Nail Peg works great. Easy to put in the ground and ultralight. Exactly what I was looking for.
