Best Ultralight Flat Tarp!
It's top quality perfection for what it is. Be prepared to customize it by cutting and adding your own guylines (the ones it comes with are nowhere near long enough to secure all tie outs). I also chose to use wire cutters to remove the plastic line locks as I prefer to tie all my own knots. All of that is to be expected. The tarp material itself is fantastic Dyneema -- light weight, waterproof and actually quite beautiful. Even with all my extra guylines attached to every tie-out point, it still fits into the stuff sack (albeit barely!).

Intimacy with the world
Use tarp twice and it is great. I have to get used to being closer to nature and the world around me when backpacking and camping.
Superlight Shelter
Fantastic. Much lighter and stronger than any other tarp, and the weird green colour is actually subtle and unobtrusive in the woods- just my style. Dyneema fabric rocks- waterproof, windproof, not stretchy at all and really light. Tarp comes with taped seams, a ton of tie-outs and line lock attachments (had to learn how to use these, I’m a knot guy) that work fantastic. Replaced some of the guy lines with reflective line but the included lines work just fine. This tarp covers my hammock completely and is as every bit as functional and flexible for different set-ups as my previous one. Tarp cleans really easily, dries off quickly and folds up in a snap making for easy pack-ups in the morning. I did initially miss my square footprint (this is rectangular) but after only a few trips I had adjusted well. I’ve read frequently about folks having minor issues with the noise from the fabric in high winds, but keep all attachments nice and snug and there are really no issues. This was a difficult purchase completed after long and careful consideration d/t the price point, but I have no regrets- and I know I will never have to replace this one. Highly recommend.
