Hammock Gear was founded by Adam Hurst. His pursuit for the best night’s sleep was inspired while hammock camping along the Appalachian Trail. Upon his return he set out to design a sleep system offering a turnkey solution to sleeping better outdoors. His revolutionary designs, coupled with an affinity to help others enjoy a restful night of sleep while camping was the catalyst to Hammock Gear’s formation.
Since Hammock Gear's humble beginnings in Adam's garage nearly 13 years ago, they have helped thousands of folks rest easy, so they can rise and shine to do more of what they love. Hammock Gear's mission is simple: sleep better, do more outdoors!
