Good taste but difficulty rehydrating

We rehydrated this for the instruction time and it did not seem to rehydrate so we gave it another ten minutes. I don't think it ever fully rehydrated, the pieces of vegetable were fairly small and very firm even after extra dehydration. That said, the flavor is good if the texture of mostly rehydrated vegetables doesn't turn you off. I am not sure what went wrong with the rehydration. I've hydrated quite a few meals so I have some experience but this one just didn't seem like it rehydrated effectively/completely. It was certainly edible and the flavor is fairly mild and a little herby with some good earthy mushroom background. I think the biscuit crumble is supposed to stay a little crusty which was fine. I give it a solid B for flavor but knock it back to a C for difficulty with hydration and for texture (which I think is rehydration related).

Hearty

This is a hearty vegan meal. At 10,000+ ft, I let it rehydrate twice as long as the directions suggest and I stirred it a few times. It was filling and flavorful, not spicey hot as so many vegan meals are. I liked it!

Disappointing.

Did not hydrate well and lacked flavor. I wouldn't purchase this again.

Absolutely Delicious

I really enjoyed this meal! My husband would've given it 3 stars (he prefers bolder, spicier flavors), but for a herby mushroom pot pie, I thought this was perfect. I did break the biscuits up into smaller pieces before rehydrating. 5 stars!

Maybe I mixed it wrong?

I was hoping for a gravy sauce with some mushrooms and biscuits. What I got was biscuits floating next to some veggies. I might try this again some other time. When I first tried their mac & cheese I wasn't impressed either, but I learned that I had to drain off a lot of the water first.
