Scott Goodwin of SÜLgear never thought he'd be in the wallet business, but sometimes when you want something no one creates you just gotta do it yourself!
Scott long distance hikes, motorcycle tours, bikepacks, kayaks, and other adventure travels. On his long distance hiking trips Scott used a small Ziploc to store ID, cash, and cards. Always concerned with losing his "Ziploc wallet", Scott began thinking about a better way of securing his ID, cards, and cash on his person while out and about. Unfortunately, thoughts of an "Adventure Wallet" faded once he returned home.
Fast forward a year or so and Scott lost his wallet on a motorcycle trip.
After the saga of getting it back, and searching everywhere for a solution but finding nothing that fit his requirements, Scott became obsessed with creating the perfect "Adventure Wallet". His experience long distance hiking had introduced Scott to Dyneema® Composite Fabric - ultra light, ultra strong, and waterproof. He ordered some fabric and started creating designs. Over a year, and countless iterations later, he was finally satisfied with his creation.
