We all love a zippered active-wear fleece. Especially when Polartec®’s Alpha™ Direct is the fleece in question. But anyone with a chin knows how crucial a well-placed zipper guard can be. That’s where the 1/3-Zip comes in. Designed with an integrated full-length zipper guard, this fleece offers the extra breathability of a zipper without compromising on next-to-skin comfort.
Polartec® Alpha™ Direct fleece fabric has an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio, providing active insulation and helping regulate body warmth for optimized comfort during stop-start activities. Its lightweight lofted fibers, mesh knit, and hydrophobic qualities make Alpha™ warmth-to-weight dependable, highly breathable, and fast-drying.
Features:
- Zipper for even more breathability
- Zipper guard for next-to-skin comfort, made with Polartec®’s Lightweight Odor -Resistant Power Dry
- Relaxed fit, for room to move and layer
- Drop Tail
- Elastic bound cuff and hems
Fit:
Unisex relaxed fit with long arms. Midlayer.
Due to the nature of Alpha™ fabric, it stretches horizontally, it may contract vertically.

Worst customer service
I was gifted the full zip hoodie as a present from my partner and it was too big so I went through the normal channels of trying to return/exchange it for a smaller size. Both my partner and I have been contacted Vado directly several times each for months now and have heard nothing back. I imagine we are past the return window now so it may be impossible to exchange it, and I haven’t even worn it once. The worst customer service of all is no customer service at all. Terrible, just buy other alpha direct brands.

Junk for fle😬😒
These are NOT made to be worn out hiking or any backcountry sports! My Wife bought me a pullover last Christmas ..Used it the week of January 2024 in Maine on a weekend trip in the long fellow mountains ( Summited Big and little Spencer mountains) ! I was excited to uses this pullover as a huge fan of polartec products since my 20s in the 1980s! I always carry extra gear! I am a proud Triple Crowner having done the PCT, CDT and AT back in 2000 , Seen and used lots of gear , So was excited to use this pullover! But it's super lightweight and not very well made ! Stitching could have used more lines in places that needed it around the shoulders and hem line! I tore out the zipper 10 mins into our hike! Very small zippers ( need a bigger size zipper guys ) the polartec fabric isn't very warm, I had it on under my gore tex shell and have a vest over it ! The fit of the pullover is a large ( I am 6'3" 190 ) it was tight fitted...Not comfortable! It's fine to wear tight clothes if it's a latex dress for a woman, but not a piece of backcountry clothing! The overall of this pullover didn't do what people say it's made to do! I was completely disappointed on this piece 😔! Went into my truck and pulled out the old ll bean fleece hoodie from 1990s for the rest of the hike! How and who is testing these things ! Seriously!! It's not worth even buying it if it can't hold upon a 4 hour rough winter hike in the mountains of Maine!

Nice!
Had my first chance to pull this out when it dipped down to the mid 40s recently. It was perfect for a cool start and packs up so easily. Very very comfy. Went with my true women’s size and fit well w t shirt underneath. It’ll be great as a mid layer in the winter (winters get very cold where I am)

Alfa Direct Pullover
It is hard to find Alpha direct products and so I was happy to see this item on the garage gear I had a previous alpha direct pull over that wore out and I liked it so much. I wanted to get another one. This one from Vado is perfect. Use the light windshield if it’s cold.

Great quality only problem is sizing is to small normally a medium is my size in most clothing had to size up to a xl on the third try to have a comfortable fit other than that awesome product
