I so enjoy strolling through your pages and picking out items that are interesting to me and will give me an opportunity to try out this summer. Always looking for that something that serves a purpose, I am a gear head for sure, and running out of room here.
I’ve followed GGG for years but never ordered. Finally had a good reason to order several small items. Rather than ordering from multiple small retailers I was able to place just one order. Good communication from the beginning of the order until delivery. Great and prompt service.
Unique and Awesome gear you can’t find just anywhere and they have it all. I love all the ultra light gadgets that are available. This is great equipment at a fair price for any minimalist!

GGG is brand new to me as I prepare for the PCT 2025! Website has tons of products, many which are from smaller companies and specialized items. Also, each product lists so much critical and detailed information! I love the videos of items as it helps show size and configuration. I have learned so much reviewing so many items. Such a valuable resource.

These guys are awesome. They have almost everything and when I need (or think I need) a new piece of gear, even if to test something out, I usually head over to GGG. They've got a bunch of stuff at awesome prices that are hard to pass up, and a lot of high end stuff too. I think this is my fourth purchase from GGG and I love the little hand-written notes that accompany my package that gets delivered to my door. Can't wait to try out the new cooking pot, titanium spoon, Flip Fuel transfer device, CNOC bottle, and more. Thanks GGG for the great gear selections and friendly prices with a personal touch. I heard of GGG from multiple people on YouTube and other platforms and I'm just starting the hobby of backpacking. I decided to purchase the majority of my gear from friends and family that were no longer using it but needed some extra stuff. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety and selection on GGG, and I'm not very tech savvy so I love that it's super easy to use! I think my only complaint is I wish there was a few more options for single person tents that don't use trekking poles or cost $400+, I know there are many options out there it would have just been nice to grab that in the same purchase. Otherwise fantastic site I'll be back for sure!
Garage Grown Gear has always been a great site. They consistently make their deliveries on time, and I know a couple people who had to reach out to them and get stuff rushed with almost no notice; GGG was able to pull it off. They have a great selection of gear, they do their best to work with companies who make their stuff here in the U.S. which isn't easy, so I'm grateful they put in that effort. I have only encountered an issue with an item once and they got right back to me and were even willing to go out of their way to try and find a solution, even though the window for returns had passed (and it was my own fault for losing a very tiny, yet critical, piece of the order; I found it later on). Also, how many companies do you know that literally sign your packing slip by hand to say thank you? Oh, and give you a sticker and an ultralight toothbrush? At this point, I will never have to buy one ever again, so thanks for being awesome GGG!
Tl;dr- GGG rules, 6/5 stars, highly recommend, they're awesome and you will be, too, if you order gear from them!
I bought (1) Large & (2) medium Water proof Compression sacks. They were excellent at reducing the size of the gear and keeping it dry. I would buy them again

This shop feels like the last place on earth that provides super friendly helpful customer service. I’ve ordered a bunch of stuff this year to update my kit and both times I’ve interacted with customer service they’re just so nice and quick to fix the issue I was having. Great products too! Love everything I’ve ordered so far.
