absolutely love this pack stream ****-quality that’s perfectly very lightweight. Looking forward to getting out the trail this spring. It’s gonna be a fun year thank you.

Unfortunate slow shipping
Never was able to use the backpack due to very slow shipping, had to purchase one at a local store instead. However, customer service was excellent and I will order from GGG again.

It’s how you pack it…
Now that I have caught your attention with my catchy review title, read the review. Coming from a backpacker that has used external and internal frame backpacks on thru hikes, this UL pack has opened my eyes to new backpacks. I’m giving it a 5 star review because I find it worthy to be my backpack and your new one too. But, (yes always have a but) there is one thing, the new G4-20 doesn’t have the unique hip belt pocket design, it has two zippered pockets on both sides, This is was a bummer for me, I was looking forward to having a place to put my phone for quick access. I still love it. Now, To get to my review title.. It definitely makes or breaks your adventure on how you pack your pack. Now hit the add to pack button and buy this amazing backpack. Happy trails! 🥾

well...
The pack is nice. However, I do miss the load lifters and internal frame. I cannot strategically place anything inside either to mitigate the situation. Thus, this particular pack sits too "low" on my spine and I can't yank the load "up" with Load lifters, although it does have compression straps, which do not solve my challenge. Having fractured my lumbar area, and osteoporosis, I need a pack with some structure to take the weight off my sore areas and to ride "higher". I suspect I need to purchase a lighter pack with an internal frame, like the Mariposa 50. I am 5'6' veteran of many back-packing trips and 72 yr old female. I have a size small pack; ditto the belts. I am very disappointed in my limitations.

Love the design
I haven't tested out my new pack yet, but I feel good about the possibilities. Everything that I need fits nicely. Though I haven't done a load out with fuel, food, and water.
