The 2Lite is SlingFin's lightest pole-supported tent. Its stable, non-freestanding design means the weight stays low while remaining shockingly livable, with two doors, two generous vestibules, and plenty of room for two people to sit up.
The 2Lite is built to hold up against harsh backpacking conditions without sacrificing the weight and comfort of a standard backpacking tent. The ergonomic footprint shape increases space at the torso and elbows, making the tent feel much roomier than its 28 square feet.
Short 12" pole segments come standard and allow the 2Lite to fit almost anywhere, making it ideal for bikepacking or any discipline in which packed size is an important consideration.
*Note: The seams on the 2Lite's flysheet are highly water-resistant and will handle light rain just fine without being seam sealed. However, the two seams directly beneath the tent poles and the long seam down the center of the flysheet should be seam sealed for maximum waterproofness in extended, heavy rains.

Awesome tent
seam sealing is no big deal. i actually enjoyed it and it was worth saving a few dollars. if u want the tent seam sealed u can buy it directly from slingfin. sil-sil no sag and doesn’t retain water like the competitors
Something missing.
this is a great little tent. nice design, quality construction and well thought out. with all that being said, there is definitely something missing. why would they not seem seal the damn tent during production? one would think that for the very high cost of a tent that gets rated lower than similar 2 p ultra light backpacking tents, it would already be seem sealed. i would think that most people do not have experience doing such a thing and would rather not have to go through the process of seem sealing it on their own. ??? c'mon slingfin ! just seem seal the tent before sending it out to the unsuspecting buyer. i would bet that nearly everyone who is interested in this tent would rather have it that way.
Amazing tent
Wow, just wow. This tent is incredible. Such easy set up, quality material and lightweight. What more can you ask for? The vestibule size is so generous and easily protected my bag, shoes and other items from the weather. Two grown adults fit cozily inside, (isn’t that the point of backpacking with your significant other—backcountry cuddles sessions!) Great tent and well worth every penny.
