After thru-hikes of the Appalachian Trail and PA’s Mid State Trail, Renée decided she’d had it with rectangles masquerading as UL packs. After tearing a tendon and with a few weeks left before graduating college, she popped some ibuprofen and learned how to use the crusty sewing machine under the bed.
Curvy packs for curvy people are in the works (stay tuned!), but Mudcat Designs is a one-woman operation and all gear is made by Renée on a heavy duty home sewing machine just outside of Philadelphia, PA. She hopes you’ll at least stop by for a poop joke.
