Like any brand, there is always a story. The stories of our lives define it, as they do for businesses. SilverAnt Outdoors is a venture that could perhaps be viewed as an endeavour for multiple years that has lead to where they are today.
A good place to start this one is with the founder: a jack of all trades, engineer, craftsman, and entrepreneur. Originating from Guangdong, China he has gone from the adversity of a post-Mao era to owning, manufacturing and designing titanium products for the last 20 years in a handful of industries, from aeronautical, to medical, military, or his passion, the great outdoors. After transitioning between industries, he settled on pursuing his passion of creating the highest quality titanium goods for the outdoor industry almost 15 years ago.
A true believer in titanium's integrity and longevity as a superior material, he said that "as the world continues to seek more sustainable and long lasting materials, titanium will become more sought after," a statement his son Kyle absolutely agrees with him on. That story has now been passed onto his son, who has been brought up with titanium his whole life, taking weekend camping trips with the outdoor products his father produced. It was an inevitability he would spearhead the direction of SilverAnt and lead strongly into the 21st century.
