Hillsound founder CS Kang was inspired and forever changed when he moved to beautiful British Columbia, Canada. He opened up a retail store dedicated to fellow outdoor lovers like himself. Through personal product testing and interacting with Vancouver’s active outdoor community, he realized there was still a need for gear that would better fit the B.C. outdoor enthusiasts’ needs. He began designing gear specifically tailored to the damp and often slippery slopes of the Coast Mountain range and before long Hillsound was born.
