Ridge Merino loves layers you can live in. Ridge Merino creates simple, everyday apparel with the mettle to weather expeditions, insulate adventures and soften the daily grind.
As a small, family-owned business based in Mammoth Lakes, California, Ridge Merino's family’s connection to the outdoors is woven through everything they make and do. Before starting Ridge in 2014, one of the co-founders led design and development at a major ski brand, where he noticed the pros preferred Merino wool to synthetic layers. Ridge Merino got the idea to make pro-level Merino apparel accessible to everyone who loves to get after it. And just like that they were off on a new adventure.
Today, Ridge Merino tests their soft, breathable Merino wool layers right on the East Side of the Sierra, where the high desert meets deep snow and 14,000-foot peaks. They ski off ridges, run through rainstorms and camp out on cold desert nights to be sure their clothing will keep you comfortable even in the most uncomfortable conditions. And that it still looks (and smells) good enough to wear to work on Monday.
