I’ll eat anything, pretty much, but I couldn’t eat this. Maybe I got a bad batch or something, but it tasted really chemical-y. I gave some to my partner, and he thought maybe the packaging or something had spoiled it. Had water for lunch that day and I just packed this out and pitched it.

The description in the “Features” section above says that this product is sesame free and markets to those with allergies. But, the ingredients say the product has sesame. What’s the story?
United StatesGreat lunch on a hot walk
It was hot, about 95 degrees in the high desert. We were on a side trip from our basecamp and I cold-soaked this in the bag. I left it slightly lumpy. After several miles we stopped at an alpine lake and I added some water to make it really smooth then used Fritos to dip into it. My friends struggled to eat their lunch in the heat, but I ate every bit of mine. I’m about to order 5 more packages for the rest of the summer. Highly recomend!

As a hummus lover, I was excited to try this product as soon as I saw it! Its flavor was definitely my favorite of the ones I tried, although the texture was a bit strange for me. Regardless, this is a product that I could see myself buying again in the future.
